All that is required is an image of Australia or New Zealand, or it can be a photograph of an animal native to Australia or New Zealand.
Award for Exceeding Yamaha Sales Targets
2019 was a successful year at the Hawker Richardson headquarters and scoring a Yamaha sales award was the cherry on the cake.
Managing Director Robert Plageman and General Manager Jim Challenger accepted the award in Japan for exceeding sales targets for 2019. Yamaha SMT offer high end, high speed precision equipment including surface mounters, printers and AOI solutions.
Here is what Jim Challenger had to say on this phenomenal achievement.
“We are proud to be awarded for our sales efforts here in Australia,” said Jim Challenger, General Manager at Hawker Richardson. “We have been working with businesses in Australia and New Zealand for over three decades in electronics and we never stop trying to find the best solution for our customers.
“Each customer has their unique set of challenges and we think it’s imperative that we don’t stop at providing them with a solution. We strive to meet their requirements for the long term, so that we support them with technical assistance and maintenance, ensuring any downtime is minimal wherever they’re located.”
The largest biannual trade show in electronics manufacturing was held in Munich Germany late 2019 attracting 44,000 visitors from over 96 countries. With 15,000 exhibitors, a number of Hawker Richardson staff got to check out innovative new products designed to support Industry 4.0 and beyond. With new product ranges secured, stay tuned for upcoming product launches and other exciting projects.
With suppliers and customers in the one precinct, Hawker Richardson had the opportunity to host a dinner for key customers from Australian and New Zealand.

Introducing Vision Engineering's new DRV-Z1 digital 3D inspection system to our customers in Australia and New Zealand.
The DRV-Z1 is a 3D digital viewer from Vision Engineering can be utilised for a wide range of inspection tasks. With real-time remote sharing capability, operators can share 3D images with colleagues, suppliers or customers anywhere in the world.
Vision’s new 3D imaging microscope is designed to work across several sectors including aerospace, automotive, plastics, precision engineering, electronics, analysis, precision instrumentation, MEMS, polymers, medical devices and security. Comprising of many uses the DRV can be used for both detailed analysis and quality control along with measurement, soldering, alignment, dissection and cutting.
