Autorotor Rotary Indexing tables. Not just another Indexer but a Real Innovation Breakthrough in a world of look alikes.

Autorotor Rotary Indexing Tables Patented Huge self supporting bearing offers:

  • More Output Torque
  • Better shock resistance
  • Better side load resistance
  • Better axial load support
  • Greater rigidity
  • Better Motion control
  • Longer life

AUTOROTOR PRECISION INDEX TABLES manufactured in Italy, provide the hub of high output assembly machines world wide and are a real break-through in a world of look alikes. Autorotor has reduced the overall dimensions and achieved better performances, rigidity and motion control than its competitors. Index plates ranging from 125 mm diameter to 1.0 metre meter diameter Autorotor has the capacity for tooling plates in excess of 6 metres and loads of 9,000 kg The key feature to Autorotors superior performance is in the PATENTED special indexing disk with a built in HUGE self supporting ball bearing, which takes the place of the traditional conical roller bearings. The internal Geometry of the indexing disk enables the use of heavier cam followers and a larger diameter cam for improved motion control. Resulting in:

  • More Output Torque
  • Better shock resistance
  • Better side load resistance
  • Better axial load support
  • Greater rigidity
  • Smoother motion control
  • Large hollowed fixed hub
  • Oil filled sealed cast iron case
  • Acceleration, deceleration and dwell machined into the cam

INTERMITTENT AND OSCILLATING DRIVES The Autorotor ITV Series High Speed Intermittent drive is a mechanical right angle drive machine. Mechanical cam and cam followers transform the input shafts constant speed to a predetermined intermittent output rotation.

THE INDEXING/OSCILLATING DRIVE series AP/OP is a mechanical parallel axis unit that transforms the continuous rotation of the input shaft into an intermittent rotation of the output shaft by means of two engaged cams with cam followers fixed to the indexing disc. The output shaft is hollow, so hoses, wires, etc., can pass through it, except for the Model AP/OP 40.

INDEXING RINGS provide the advantage of a large inside diameter that permits locating machinery in the center of the index drive. This saves floor space and ensures vibration free operation. Indexing rings are suitable for a wide range of applications, from robotic welding to component assembly, sizes range up to 2.4 metres diameter.
